GCSE and IB Summer Workshops

Picture
From the success and popularity of our summer workshops last year, we are again running similar courses this year to help students bridge the gap between GCSE and IB and also intensive GCSE  revision courses for pre-second year GCSE students. These are intensive workshops and students are expected to do homework to complement the lessons.

IB Workshops
From experience, students moving from GCSE to IB often find the IB Diploma extremely demanding and challenging, even for very capable students. To better prepare students, we have specifically designed a number of workshops aimed to improve the skills necessary to secure and improve grades. Workshops are available for both new IB students and Year 13 students. Since many of the IB topics are often NOT FULLY examined in school and students lack the time during term times to do extra study, students will learn ahead and tackle the more difficult topics/concepts so that they would be confident when it is finally introduced in their course. Students would also get to try and practice on real IB exam questions with techniques taught that would help improve grades.
